From PsychoStats

The PsychoStats server and services have been maintained solely by Jason Morriss (aka: Stormtrooper) since 2001. This includes all costs and hardware that allow the www.psychostats.com web site function. You will notice more and more advertisements on the PsychoStats webpage to help with the costs of running this server. But the revenue generated by the advertisements is extremely small and does not help all that much. I have tried to place the advertisements in areas that are unobtrusive but visible for advertisers. If you have a problem with these advertisements please let me know.

Help Support PsychoStats!

You can help by offering a small donation to the software. If everyone were to donate a small amount from time to time, the monthly costs of running the server would diminish and allow me to use the money for other purposes like server upgrades, or the addition of other servers for more services.

With your help, PsychoStats will continue to offer software for years to come to the gaming communities of Half-Life, Counter-Strike, Day of Defeat, Call of Duty, and others!

Server Costs

The current costs of running the www.psychostats.com website as of April 8th, 2008 is $139 USD a month. This server runs on a Pentium 4 (dual core) 3.2GHz machine, with Debian as the host operating system.

A few people have offered to host the website for me, but unfortunately I must decline these offers because I require a dedicated server for the various development and services that I offer the community. I run a lot of specialized software and have specialized needs on the server which no 'shared hosting' solution is going to allow. But, I do appreciate the offers nonetheless =).
